Portland's Meyers Leonard scores 19 points, snares eight rebounds

Portland Trail Blazers forward Meyers Leonard was terrific on Monday during an 88-81 win over the Utah Jazz, scoring 19 points with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

What It Means:

This should definitely have the attention of all fantasy owners. Leonard looks like the No. 3 option in the offense, and he's running a lot of pick-and-pop and stretching the floor around the arc. Leonard is also doing a good job on the glass and is blocking a few more shots.

With Portland in rebuild mode, Leonard is nearly guaranteed to see a career-high usage rate. In 15.5 minutes per game last season, Leonard averaged 5.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and hit 93 percent of his free throws.
