Pelicans' Tyreke Evans scores 18 in efficient fashion
New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans scored 18 points on 7-of-10 from the field with 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 three-pointer in 24 minutes against the Chicago Bulls on Monday.
Evans played a career-high 2690 minutes last season, but his 17.7 PER was his lowest since 2011. His 26.1 usage rate was the second-highest on the team, and with Norris Cole's injury, Evans is going to play a huge role for the Pelicans to start the season.
