Omri Casspi (ankle) diagnosed with sprain, will miss 'around a week' for Warriors
Golden State Warriors forward Omri Casspi has been diagnosed with a right ankle sprain and will miss "around a week," according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Casspi suffered the injury in the second quarter of Friday's game and did not return. He's not traveling with the team to Phoenix and could miss an additional 2-to-3 games. His absence will cause Andre Iguodala and Nick Young to play big minutes with both Kevin Durant (rib) and Klay Thompson (thumb) sidelined.
Casspi is averaging 14 minutes and 13 FanDuel points per game through 53 games this season.
