Detroit Pistons point guard Dwight Buycks scored 22 points (8-of-15 field goals, 5-of-6 free throws) with 1 rebound, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 3-pointer, and 2 turnovers in 23.0 minutes of Thursday's 120-113 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
The points are a new career-high for Buycks, who has been outplaying Ish Smith and should continue to see additional minutes moving forward. Detroit faces the Trail Blazers in Portland on Saturday.
Buycks scored a season-high 33.2 FanDuel points on Thursday, compared to his average of 14.6 FanDuel points per game for the season.
