Hornets' Emeka Okafor plays a season-high 26 minutes in win over Hornets
New Orleans Pelicans center Emeka Okafor played a season-high 26.3 minutes on Tuesday, racking up 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals in a four-point win over the Charlotte Hornets.
The 35-year-old Okafor has averaged only 17.1 minutes per game in his return to the NBA, and the Pelicans seem to be ramping up his minutes a bit as they fight for a playoff spot in the West.
numberFire's models project Okafor to disappear with only 1.9 points and 1.9 boards in 5.4 minutes of action against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.
