Al Horford (illness) will not play for Celtics at home on Sunday versus Pacers
Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Indiana Pacers.
Horford will join Jaylen Brown (concussion) on the Celtics' sidelines, potentially opening up a spot for Daniel Theis in the starting lineup. Kyrie Irving will likely see an uptick in usage and Greg Monroe could log a few more minutes off the bench. It's unfortunate timing after Horford scored 20 points and pulled down 8 rebounds on Thursday.
Horford is averaging 31.9 FanDuel points per game this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 20.5 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.9 steals, and 2.1 blocks per contest.
