D.J. Augustin (ankle) expected to play for Magic on Friday

Orlando Magic point guard D.J. Augustin (ankle) is expected to play against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, according to head coach Frank Vogel.

What It Means:

Augustin is questionable after injuring his ankle on Wednesday but it's not believed to be anything serious. If he can't play, Shelvin Mack will handle point guard duties while Mario Hezonja would also see an uptick, now that Aaron Gordon (concussion) has been ruled out.

Augustin is averaging 17.9 FanDuel points per game this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 12.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.4 3-pointers per game.
