Free agent guard Derrick Rose is signing with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Coach Tom Thibodeau is bringing another old face over to Minnesota. It's unlikely Rose affects Jeff Teague's playing time at all, but he could potentially dig into Tyus Jones' minutes. For now though, it's unclear if he'll have any significant role with his new team.
Rose averaged 9.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 19.3 minutes a game with the Cleveland Cavaliers this season.
