Pistons' Reggie Jackson says his ankle is 'feeling better'
Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson said his injured ankle is "feeling better" and he's not in "much pain at all now," reports Rod Beard of The Detroit News.
In talking about his ankle rehab, Jackson said, "It's just strengthening and doing everything functionally so that I can go out there and be myself but I'm getting more confident each and every day." Over two months removed from his last game, Jackson was getting shots up on Wednesday. He still isn't close to a return, but when he's back that will push Ish Smith back to backup and take Dwight Buycks all but out of the Detroit rotation.
Our models project Jackson for 13.8 points, 4.7 assists and 2.9 rebounds over 28.1 minutes per game the rest of the year.
