The Portland Trail Blazers are signing former Sacramento Kings center Georgios Papgiannis to a 10-day contract, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Papagiannis has released by the Kings at the trade deadline and now has finally latched onto a team. A lottery pick back in 2016, the big man saw limited action in Sacramento and is not expected to get much run in Portland either but is worth a gamble.
Papagiannis averaged 4.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks in 12.4 minutes per game in 38 games the last 2 seasons with Sacramento.
