The Minnesota Timberwolves and forward Shabazz Muhammad have agreed to a contract buyout, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Muhammad has been out of the T-Wolves rotation and all year and agreed to the buyout in hopes of signing with a playoff contender, where he could see playing time. Muhammad has appeared in only 32 games this season, averaging less than 10 minutes per game.
Muhammad has averaged 9.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 three-pointers in 17.4 minutes per game in his 5-year career.
