Lakers' Josh Hart (hand) diagnosed with small fracture, evaluating options
Los Angeles Lakers guard Josh hart has a small fracture in his left hand and is evaluating both surgical and non-surgical options, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Hart left Wednesday's practice after being hit on his hand. After undergoing X-rays, the team learned that he had suffered a small fracture, which could keep him out for a while if not for the rest of the season. Surgery would all but guarantee the end of his rookie year, and for whatever time he misses, expect Alex Caruso to come into some minutes. We could also see Kentavious Caldwell-Pope play huge minutes as Isaiah Thomas benefits from an off-ball guard on the wing from time-to-time.
Hart has averaged 11.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.9 threes in 20 starts this season.
