Jimmy Butler could reportedly return for Timberwolves in 4-6 weeks
Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Jimmy Butler (knee) is expected to undergo surgery in the next few days and could return within 4-6 weeks, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
This means Butler won't be back until April. Nemanja Bjelica is getting the start tonight against the Chicago Bulls and figures to benefit the most while Jimmy Buckets is sidelined.
Butler is averaging 41.4 FanDuel points per game this season. Upon return, numberFire's models project him to record 25.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 3.4 3-pointers per game over the remainder of the year.
