Darren Collison

Pacers' Darren Collison (knee) expected to be out the next four games

Indiana Pacers coach Nate McMillan said he doesn't expect point guard Darren Collison to return during the team's four-game road trip.

What It Means:

McMillan said, "The recovery is not going as fast as we thought it would so it’s going to take a bit of time. I’d say on this road trip, he won’t be back." Having already missed six games, there was some optimism that Collison would return next week, but that doesn't sound as likely anymore. Instead, this timetable wouldn't have him back until March 5th, at the earliest. Cory Joseph, Lance Stephenson and Victor Oladipo will all carry heavier workloads for now.

Averaging 27.7 FanDuel points per game, Collison is projected to average 16.3 points, 6.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds over the remainder of his 2017-18 campaign.
