Ersan Ilyasova nearing buyout with Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks and forward Ersan Ilyasova are nearing a buyout agreement, according to USA Today's Sam Amick.
What It Means:
This news comes out of nowhere after Ilyasova said he wouldn't want to relocate from Atlanta. Potential interest in him is unknown, but a contender could certainly add him for some frontcourt depth. John Collins, Mike Muscala and DeAndre Bembry could all benefit with him elsewhere.
Over 46 games and 40 starts, Ilyasova is averaging 10.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game this season.
