Rudy Gay will have minutes capped on Friday in return for Spurs
San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay will have a minutes limit in his return to the lineup on Friday against the Denver Nuggets, head coach Gregg Popovich said.
Popovich suggested Gay would see roughly 15-20 minutes in his first game since December 28. He also said the Spurs would be making changes to the starting lineup tonight, so Gay could get the start.
Gay averaged 22.7 FanDuel points in 34 games (five starts) before going down. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 11.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 0.6 3-pointers per game.
