Ricky Rubio (hip) returns to practice, questionable for Jazz on Friday
Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio (sore left hip) returned to practice on Thursday and is questionable for Friday's matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers.
This is encouraging news after Rubio didn't practice on Wednesday. He missed the last three games before the All-Star break, which opened up a spot for Royce O'Neale in the starting lineup while Donovan Mitchell took over point guard duties. Rubio averaged 20.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 7.8 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.6 3-pointers across five games in February before going down.
Rubio is averaging 26.8 FanDuel points in 54 games this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 12.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.4 3-pointers per game.
