Lakers' Lonzo Ball (knee) expects to return Friday against Mavericks

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball said that he expects to return to the floor Friday versus the Dallas Mavericks.

What It Means:

Ball's been sidelined since January 13th with an MCL sprain. The team understandably took is slow, but he should be back to his starting point guard role. That should take ball-handling responsibilities from Brandon Ingram as well as playing time from Josh Hart. It will be interesting to see the dynamic between Ball and Isaiah Thomas.

Our models project Ball to play 33.9 minutes and tally 33.9 FanDuel points in Friday's home game against the Mavs.
