Celtics' Marcus Smart (hand) cleared to practice, will play Friday
Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart has been cleared to practice Thursday and will play Friday, according to NBC Sports' A. Sherrod Blakely.
Smart had a private workout with the team. Upon his return from a lacerated hand, it's likely that he plays his usual 25-to-30 minutes, at the detriment of Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown. Smart's streak of absences will end at 11.
On the year, Smart is averaging 10.1 points, 4.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds over 30.3 minutes per game. He's projected for 23 FD points for Friday's matchup.
