Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry scored 30 points in just 26 minutes on Thursday as the Warriors fell to the Portland Trail Blazers.
He added two rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and six three-pointers on 6-of-14 from the field. Curry was 12-of-15 from the line to give him a usage rate of 36.1.
Curry -- who made 3.6 three-pointers per game last year -- is going to rack up some gaudy numbers again this season and is the consensus No. 2 pick in standard leagues. In his MVP campaign a year ago, Curry averaged 23.8 points, 7.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 44 percent from 3-point land and hitting 91 percent his his charity tosses.
