Houston Rockets guard/forward Joe Johnson will sign his contract on Wednesday and be available to play on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings, reports Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Johnson will help make up for Trevor Ariza's (hamstring) absence and could take minutes away from the likes of P.J. Tucker, Ryan Anderson, and Luc Mbah a Moute. The Rockets waived Troy Williams in a corresponding roster move.
Johnson averaged 14.1 FanDuel points in 32 games (three starts) with the Utah Jazz this season before being traded to the Sacramento Kings at last week's deadline.
