Victor Oladipo excellent again in Magic loss

Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo had another great game on Thursday during a 97-92 loss to the Indiana Pacers, scoring 15 points with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 3 three-pointers in 31 minutes.

What It Means:

In his preseason debut last week, Oladipo had 16 points to go with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 three-pointer in 20 minutes.

He's still not getting minutes at point guard, but that's fine. Oladipo flourished after the break last season, and he could take another leap forward in his third year. He averaged 17.9 points, 4.2 boards, 4.1 assists and hit 82 percent of his free throws last season. Oladipo won't -- and shouldn't -- make it past the third round in most drafts.
