Isaiah Thomas expected to make Lakers debut on Saturday versus Mavericks
Los Angeles Lakers point guard Isaiah Thomas is expected to be available for Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks.
Lakers head coach Luke Walton said Thomas will join the team in Dallas for Saturday's matchup, but his workload and role remain unclear for the debut. He's expected to start for now with Lonzo Ball (knee) on the shelf, but once Ball returns, it'll be interesting to see if Thomas or Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are moved to the bench. Channing Frye is also expected to make his Lakers debut on Saturday.
