Kings' Malachi Richardson (ankle) traded to Raptors for Bruno Caboclo
The Vertical's Shams Charania is reporting that the Sacramento Kings shooting guard Malachi Richardson has been traded to the Toronto Raptors for power/center Bruno Caboclo.
A first-round pick in 2016, Richardson has had a hard time getting on the floor in Sacramento. Recently, he's missed five straight games due to injury. He'll add depth on the wing for Toronto, but don't expect him to have a major role. His absence will have a positive impact on Garrett Temple and Buddy Hield.
In 25 games (4 starts), Richardson has turned 12.8 minutes into 3.5 points per game on 33% shooting from the field.
