Jae Crowder lands with Jazz in three-team, multi-player exchange

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Jae Crowder has been traded to the Utah Jazz as part of a three-team deal on Thursday's trade deadline.

What It Means:

Crowder was included in this summer's trade with the Boston Celtics. He has just never seemed to fit in with Cleveland, playing as a smallball forward in basically all lineups. He's joined by Derrick Rose. Cleveland will get back Rodney Hood in the exchange. We can look for Crowder to spend time at both forward spots with Derrick Favors and Jonas Jerebko seeing decreased minutes at power forward.

Crowder has averaged 25.4 minutes, 8.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 53 games with the Cavs. His -2.6 nERD ranked second-worst on the team and was far from his mark of 4.3 in 2016-17.
