Derrick Rose sent to Utah in three-way trade with Cavs, Kings
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Utah Jazz will acquire point guard Derrick Rose from the Cleveland Cavaliers are part of a three-team trade on Thursday.
As the Jazz and Cavaliers executed a three-way deal with the Sacramento Kings, Rose and teammate Jae Crowder will go to Utah, who traded away Joe Johnson and Rodney Hood in the transaction. Rose could be expected to back up Ricky Rubio in limited minutes with the Jazz.
Rose, who has struggled with injuries this year, has played in only 16 of a possible 53 games. In those appearances, he's tallied 9.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
