Brice Johnson acquired by Grizzlies from Pistons
The Memphis Grizzlies acquired power forward Brice Johnson and a second-round from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for guard/forward James Ennis.
Johnson will likely compete with Jarell Martin for backup minutes at power forward behind JaMychal Green, but the 23-year-old sophomore should be able to see a decent amount of opportunity on a rebuilding Grizzlies team. Johnson never appeared in a game after being acquired from the Clippers on January 29 as part of the Blake Griffin trade.
Johnson averaged 4.2 minutes in nine games with the Los Angeles Clippers this season before being dealt to the Pistons.
