Channing Frye heading to Lakers after trade with Cavaliers
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Channing Frye has been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers with point guard Isaiah Thomas and a 2018 first-round pick in exchange for guard Jordan Clarkson and power forward Larry Nance.
Frye will likely be bought out by the Lakers. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers made a significant upgrade by going from the 34-year-old veteran to the 25-year-old Nance.
Frye averaged 10.4 FanDuel points in 44 games (one start) for the Cavaliers this season, with 4.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.7 3-pointers per contest.
