Pistons receive James Ennis from Grizzlies, send Brice Johnson, second-rounder
The Detroit Pistons have acquired guard/forward James Ennis from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for power forward Brice Johnson and a second-round pick, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Ennis should help provide some depth on the perimeter and may also indicate the Pistons intend to package something together around Stanley Johnson in hopes of a bigger deal. The 27-year-old was a second-round pick in the 2013 draft.
Ennis averaged 14.5 FanDuel points in 45 games (14 starts) for the Grizzlies this season, with 6.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.7 3-pointers per game.
