New York Knicks and center Joakim Noah have mutually agreed to Noah staying away from the team "until further notice," reports NJ.com's Steve Popper.
Noah got into a confrontation with head coach Jeff Hornacek over his playing time. He has not been with the team since the incident on January 24th. He is unlikely to be moved with a terrible contract. Enes Kanter, Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez will continue to hold down the center spot the rest of the year.
In 7 games, Noah's averaging just 5.7 minutes, 1.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game during this year's campaign.
