Los Angeles Clippers forward Willie Reed was traded along with forwards Blake Griffin and Brice Johnson to the Detroit Pistons for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, and draft picks.
What It Means:
The 27-year-old big man has played a minimal role with the Clippers this season averaging just 10.7 minutes per game. He is not expected to see an expanded role in Detroit and will only serve as frontcourt depth behind Griffin and Andre Drummond.
Reed has averaged 4.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks per game this season.
