Dirk Nowitzki (illness) 'feeling better', will play Friday for Dallas
According to the Dallas Morning News' Brad Townsend, Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle said power forward/center Dirk Nowitzki is "feeling better" and will play Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Nowitzki was dealing with a stomach bug that forced him to leave Wednesday's game early. There was no mention of a minutes limit, but if the 39-year-old is limited for any reason expect Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber to pick up extra minutes for the Mavs.
For Friday's matchup, Nowitzki is projected for 25.8 minutes and 25.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $4,800.
