Jazz reportedly interested in Knicks' Willy Hernangomez

The Utah Jazz have reportedly expressed their interest in New York Knicks center Willy Hernangomez.

What It Means:

It seems like just about everyone but Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway have been subject of trade rumors for the Knicks. But, for Hernangomez, it's not very shocking. He's played a limited role with New York and is just 23 years old. The Jazz might unload Derrick Favors' contract, but if they land Hernangomez he would slide in behind Rudy Gobert and eliminate Ekpe Udoh from his backup role at center.

In just 21 games and 203 minutes, Hernangomez is averaging 4.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game this season.
