T-Wolves' Karl-Anthony Towns named to first All-Star team
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns has been named a reserve for the 2018 Western Conference All-Star team.
The 2015-16 Rookie of the Year will make his first All-Star appearance in his third NBA season. He joins teammate Jimmy Butler in the game as Minnesota is poised to make the playoffs for the first time in 14 seasons. Towns ranks in the top-10 in rebounds (12.1), blocks (1.6), true shooting % (63.6%), and offensive rating (123.6).
The big man currently ranks 4th among all 487 NBA players with a 9.3 nERD rating.
