Cavaliers' Kevin Love voted Eastern Conference All-Star reserve
Cleveland Cavaliers center Kevin Love has been voted to the NBA's Eastern Conference All-Star team, reports Shams Charania of The Vertical.
With the new format, Love will be added to the Eastern Conference player pool, which will be selected by captains LeBron James and Stephen Curry. The teams will be revealed on Thursday night. For Love, it's his fifth selection and second as a member of the Cavaliers.
Love's minutes (28.5), points (18.6) and rebounds (9.4) per game are all down from a year ago, but his field goal (45.9%) and three-point percentages (40.1%) are his best marks since the 2010-11 season.
