Kawhi Leonard (quad) rumored to want out of San Antonio
San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Kawhi Leonard (quad) is rumored to want to leave the team, Jalen Rose surmised on ESPN's First Take.
According to Rose, Leonard is apparently upset with the level of talent the Spurs have brought in via free agency. Rose also claims players are reluctant to go to San Antonio because they don't want to put in the effort required to play for head coach Gregg Popovich. This all comes in response to a Monday report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, who described Leonard as "distant" and "disconnected" from the organization. The 26-year-old All-NBA forward has played just nine games all season and is out indefinitely.
Kawhi is averaging 32.5 FanDuel points in nine games this season, with 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 steals, 1.0 blocks, 1.2 3-pointers, and 1.8 turnovers in 23.4 minutes per contest.
