Channing Frye

Cavs expected to include Channing Frye in package for Kings' George Hill

According to the New York Times' Marc Stein, the Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to include center Channing Frye in any trade with the Sacramento Kings.

What It Means:

Frye is playing on a $7.4 million deal that will expire at the end of the season. His inclusion would provide the Kings with cap space while leveling the money that would be exchanged in a deal involving George Hill and his $20 million cap hit. Iman Shumpert's another name that's being floated out there. Frye would be a buyout candidate if he's dealt to Sacramento.

Over 37 games and 11.4 minutes per game, Frye is averaging 4.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.6 threes per game. He's projected to play 271 minutes over the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
