Milwaukee Bucks fire head coach Jason Kidd

The Milwaukee Bucks have fired head coach Jason Kidd, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

What It Means:

Kidd was in the midst of his fourth season as the Bucks' head coach, and he has put together a 139-152 record in that time. Milwaukee owns a .511 win percentage this season, which is on pace to be right in line with last year's .512 -- their highest mark under Kidd. Wojnarowski reports that assistant coach Joe Prunty will take over as interim head coach.

numberFire's nERD power rankings have the Bucks ranked 17th in the NBA, and our models project them for a 62.5% chance at making the playoffs.
