Rodney Hood (leg) ruled out for Jazz on Saturday night

Utah Jazz guard/forward Rodney Hood has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a leg contusion.

What It Means:

Hood will sit out the second half of Utah's back-to-back set after experiencing pain in his leg on Friday that forced him to sit in the fourth quarter. It's also worth mentioning that the Jazz are reportedly shopping Hood around, so they might be erring on the side of caution. Joe Ingles and Joe Johnson will likely pick up most of his minutes tonight versus the Clippers.

Hood is averaging 24.0 FanDuel points in 36 games (12 starts) this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 15.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.4 3-pointers per game.
