Detroit Pistons power forward Jon Leuer will undergo season-ending ankle surgery on Friday, reports Rod Beard of The Detroit News.
After playing in just eight games, Leuer's 2017-18 season was a disappointing one for everyone involved. He hasn't played since late October and the hope is that surgery corrects his issue. Anthony Tolliver and Eric Moreland will continue to play some backup four for Detroit.
Leuer's season will end with averages of 5.4 points and 4.0 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
