Miami's Tyler Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game

Miami Heat guard Tyler Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game versus the Brooklyn Nets.

What It Means:

Johnson went for a second opinion which confirmed the original diagnosis, a sprained ankle. While the news is positive for the long term, the guard will not play Friday and should be considered questionable to play on Saturday as well. Derrick Jones Jr. is likely to start again with Wayne Ellington seeing extra minutes.

Johnson has averaged 12.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 22.6 FanDuel points per game this season.
