Suns rule out Marquese Chriss (hip) for Friday
Phoenix Suns forward/center Marquese Chriss (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets.
What It Means:
Chriss still hasn't returned to practice, and being ruled out over 24 hours before tip-off is a sign that he may not be particularly close to returning. His next opportunity to play will be on Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks. Look for Dragan Bender to continue starting while Chriss is out.
Chriss is averaging 7.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in 21.2 minutes peer game this season. His .485 effective field goal percentage is a drop from the .506 he posted in his 2016-17 rookie campaign.
