Grizzlies' Deyonta Davis draws first career start in place of Marc Gasol (illness) on Wednesday night
Memphis Grizzlies power forward Deyonta Davis is starting on Wednesday night against the New York Knicks.
Marc Gasol and Brandan Wright are both out due to illness, so Davis will make the first start of his NBA career. Grizzlies head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said the 2016 second-round pick "has been groomed for these moments," so he should see plenty of opportunity for a shorthanded frontcourt in Memphis.
numberFire's models project Davis to score 28.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,600 on Wednesday.
