Kawhi Leonard (quad) has been ruled out for Spurs on Monday against Hawks
San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard (quad) has been ruled out on Monday against the Atlanta Hawks, after experiencing soreness in his quad.
Leonard popped up as a game time decision after experiencing soreness in his quad earlier in the morning. The Spurs are labeling his absence as "return from injury management," so hopefully Leonard has not suffered a setback and is just sore. The injury cost him the first two months of the season, and with how much the Spurs need Leonard, they will hold him out for the matinee contest against the lowly Hawks. LaMarcus Aldridge should see a big boost in usage, while Kyle Anderson is a candidate to jump into the starting lineup.
Leonard is averaging 32.5 FanDuel points per game this season.
