Amir Johnson

76ers' Amir Johnson (illness) won't play Wednesday against Celtics

Philadelphia 76ers center Amir Johnson will not play in Wednesday's game, according to Philly.com's Keith Pompey.

What It Means:

Johnson's dealing with a bout of gastroenteritis and won't participate in Wednesday's game in London. Richaun Holmes will take over his backup center minutes behind Joel Embiid. Johnson should be good to return Monday as the 76ers host the Toronto Raptors.

Johnson is averaging 15.6 minutes and 15.7 FanDuel points per game this season. He's projected for 14.1 FD points if he takes the floor against the Raptors on Monday night.
