Marcin Gortat turns in 17 points, 7 rebounds as Wizards fall to Bucks
Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat scored 17 points (7-of-10 field goals, 3-of-6 free throws) with 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 blocks in 33.2 minutes of Saturday's 110-103 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
After going 3-of-12 from the field in the front end of the Wizards' back-to-back, Gortat had an easier time getting his shot to fall on Saturday. He's topped 17 points in two of the past three games, a significant step up from his average of 9.2 points per game this season.
