Sixers' Ben Simmons looking for third straight 20-point game on Friday
Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons has scored 21 and 26 points in his last two games, and will look to exceed 20 for a third straight game against the Detroit Pistons Friday night.
Simmons got off to a hot start this season, but he tailed off a bit with Joel Embiid in and out of the lineup for a while. He's come back to hit 15-of-29 shots in his last two games while averaging 8.5 made free throws. Meanwhile, he's contributed at least five rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block against both the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs.
Facing the Pistons, Simmons is projected for 14.6 points and 37.2 FanDuel points. He costs $8,600 on Friday's 10-game slate.
