Heat's Justise Winslow (knee) ruled out Friday against Knicks
Miami Heat forward Justise Winslow will not play in Friday's game, reports the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman.
Both Winslow and Dion Waiters (ankle) have been ruled out ahead of Friday night. For Winslow, he's a little closer to a return. He practiced for the first time since suffering a knee strain, though it was in non-contact drills. With both guys out, Josh Richardson will see heavy minutes at small forward while minutes shift to James Johnson and Kelly Olynyk at the power forward spot.
Through 27 games and 15 starts, Winslow has averaged 6.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 22.6 minutes per game.
