Nuggets' Mason Plumlee (core muscle) will be dealing with injury 'the whole season'
Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone said center Mason Plumlee's core strain will be "an issue that he's going to have the whole season," reports Harrison Wind of BSN Denver.
The Nuggets are already limited his workload in practice. That will likely remain the case as Plumlee's asked to play decent minutes with Paul Millsap (wrist) sidelined until after the All-Star break. If he becomes too much of an issue, expect Nikola Jokic and Wilson Chandler to play more minutes at the power forward and center spots.
In 36 games and 14 starts, Plumlee is averaging 6.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over 20.1 minutes. He's projected for averages of 22.3 minutes, 7.8 points and 6.5 rebounds a game the rest of the year.
