Jahlil Okafor (conditioning) expected to return to action for Nets on Wednesday
Brooklyn Nets center Jahlil Okafor (conditioning) is close to being in game shape and is expected to play on Wednesday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.
What It Means:
Okafor has been out since December 15 as the Nets had him focus on his conditioning. He has played just one game for Brooklyn, logging 22 minutes against the Toronto Raptors. His role moving forward is unclear, but it is a promising sign that he will be back on the court this week.
Okafor has averaged just 6.7 points and 4.3 rebounds in 16.0 minutes in the three games he has played this year.
